Broadcasters & Sports Media
Live, on-demand, channels and OTT on one configurable platform — with rights controls where you need them.
The challenge
Why it matters to broadcasters & sports media
01From camera to consumer
Content creation, production, live streaming, playout, on-demand and OTT distribution — connected in one chain.
02Modular technology and flexible integration
Social, Broadcast, OTT, Technology, Commercial and Engagement are complementary capabilities — choose what fits your requirements.
03Commercialisation and sponsorship
Advertising, content, audiences, sponsors and publishing partners connected — with a clear value exchange between brands and sport.
04Social and streaming in one ecosystem
Sports-focused social discovery meets structured live and on-demand viewing, so audiences move from finding content to watching more of it.
Relevant capabilities
Not every capability is included in every configuration. We'll shape the right combination with you.
Stream matches, races and ceremonies live, then keep them available on demand.
Upload highlights, full matches and stories, organised so supporters can find them again.
Run scheduled channels with an electronic programme guide (EPG) — a TV-style schedule viewers can browse.
Your own branded streaming service (OTT — delivered over the internet), powered by Discover Sport.
Place players and content directly on your existing website, so fans stay with you.
Introduce advertising around your content in a way that respects the viewing experience.
Protect content (DRM) and limit where it can be watched (geo-blocking) to honour rights agreements.
Optional production, broadcast and operational services for events that need more hands on deck.
Connect Discover Sport to your existing systems, data and workflows.
Use cases
Put content you hold — but can't schedule — in front of the audiences that want it.
Launch scheduled channels around events and tournaments with an EPG.
How the ecosystem works
Content, audiences and opportunity reinforce each other — the more the ecosystem is used, the more there is to discover.
Athletes, clubs, federations and media partners create or distribute content.
Audiences discover sporting content, talent and competitions.
Profiles, following, viewing and engagement build communities.
Visibility can create opportunities for scouting, sponsorship, partnerships and commercialisation.
Participation and relevant content attract further audiences and partners.
↺ And back to step 1 — new audiences bring new creators.
Visibility creates possibilities, not guarantees — scouting, sponsorship and revenue outcomes depend on each case.
